Hello! I was born and raised in Southern California. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from University of Nevada, Reno and my Master’s Degree in Education from the University of La Verne. Before coming to El Rancho in 2007, I had spent 8 years teaching for Torrance Unified School District, where I had taught both High School and Middle School. I coached Surfing and Hockey and didn’t think my job could get any better that was until I was hired at El Rancho. I am married, my wife Rocio is a 6th grade math and science teacher in Torrance and we have 2 boys (Tyler and Matt). I enjoy spending my free time working on my house, surfing, running and being in the Army Reserves. I have been deployed 2 times under OPERATION Enduring Freedom.
My experiences since I have joined the El Rancho Team have been an amazing ride filled with excitement that I wouldn’t trade for the world. I have had an opportunity to work with excellent teachers, students, and parent over the years and look forward to continuing that into the future.
