My name is Jessica Masterson and this is second year teaching and my first year here at El Rancho. I grew up in Orange County, California until I attended San Diego State University, where I graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. degree in Liberal Studies and a specialization in mathematics.  It was through my extensive math coursework that I found my passion and began my pursuit to teach mathematics.  I went on to receive my Multiple Subject Credential and Supplementary Authorization in Mathematics from California State University, Fullerton.  After I earned my credential, I worked at a private school for one year, where I taught 5th through 8th grade math.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy coaching cheerleading, watching football, and spending time with my friends and family.  I am thrilled to be working at such a wonderful school and excited to be part of the El Rancho team.
