Welcome to my page! My name is Patrick Herron at I am currently in my second year teaching at El Rancho.  I teach both 7th Grade World History and 8th Grade US History and love the energy that Junior High Students bring to the class each day.  I received my B.A. in History, my teaching credential and my Masters in Teaching from UC Irvine, so I guess you could say I’m a lifetime Anteater.  In my free time I enjoy watching sports (especially my favorite baseball team, the Atlanta Braves), working out, and going to the beach. In my class, I have two main goals: to show students how exciting and interesting studying history can be, and to prepare and teach them to be successful students in high school.
