My name is Melissa Carlile and I teacher 8th Grade US Honors, 7th Grade World History and I am also the AVID coordinator.  I LOVE teaching at El rancho and coming to work everyday.  I have been teaching here for 4 years and before I came to El Rancho I taught in LA for a few years.  I graduated from BYU with my BA and received my Masters from Cal State Fullerton.

My husband and I are expecting our second child this fall and we’re excited.  When I’m not teaching I love to travel and do anything outdoors.  I love running and try to do a few races every year.
