Tutorial

El Rancho has instituted a program we feel will enhance your child’s education. The program is called tutorial and will take place each Tuesday and Thursday. We have modified our bell schedule so that we have an extra 32 minute period on those days. A copy of our new bell schedule is located on the website. Each week your student will receive a menu of services that are being offered by teachers. The menu will change weekly and will be posted on our website. Your student will have an opportunity to go to whatever classroom will best serve them in their education. You can also help by looking at the menu and helping them make a selection. If they need extra help in math, science, English or history, they can visit a teacher during tutorial. If they need extra time completing a project in their elective or rehearsing, they can do it during tutorial. The benefits are tremendous.

Tutorial is scheduled from 1:32 to 2:04 each Tuesday and Thursday. Because students are making a choice about where they need to go, we will not be able to locate them if you come at that time for pick up so please plan accordingly. The goal is to create a greater learning and higher grades for all of our students.
